AFTER WAXING

AFTER APPOINTMENT

+ Avoid tanning beds for 48 hours as your skin is more prone to sun damage.

+ It is recommended you wait 24 - 48 hours for sex to give your skin time to heal and allow hair follicles to close. Added friction can irritate the already sensitive skin.

+ Avoid extreme heat and being submerged in water (saunas, spas, steam, bathes, pools, beach) for 24 to 48 hours to avoid aggravating the skin and causing infection as you are more susceptible right after a wax.

+ Do not exercise 24 to 48 hours after appointment as this will increase your chance of breaking out or causing an infection.

+ Avoid colored soaps, fragrances, lotions, and sprays as they are all known irritants.

+ Avoid wearing tight clothes; tight fitting clothes don’t allow for the area to breathe and heal.

+ Wait 48 hours and then resume your normal exfoliation schedule. 3 times a week to minimize ingrown hairs.
